Vypr5 is a brand new business that’s bringing an exciting concept and range of fresh, best in market products to the UK.  The company quickly built up a strong online following by working with top premier league footballers and using product placement to spread the word about their game changing ideas. While the social media aspect was going well, they needed a new website that reflected their vision and enabled them to sell their products easily online.

It’s a little known fact that footballers are only required to wear club kit from the ankles upwards – on their feet they can wear whatever they like. The guys at Vypr5 spotted this gap in the market and created a range of performance sports socks crafted using next generation technology. They started out with three products, including a high-end sock to be worn by professional footballers on match day, and came to us to see how we could help them scale up.

We developed a WordPress website with woocommerce, providing them with a highly scalable selling platform that offered a great customer experience and allowed them to showcase their products on social media. The site is modern, fresh and young looking, and uses a palette of greys, blacks and yellows combined with a sporty font for a look that speaks to the company’s target audience.  The easy to navigate pages each feature clear images of their products, which are simple for customers to browse and buy.

We knew from the outset that this would be a brand that would grow quickly, so it was important for them to have a website that allowed them to adapt to changing customer demands. The woocommerce site features a range of plugins that can be added to as they continue to scale up over time, including:

• BOGOF
• Bundle deals
• Discounts
• Free UK and Europe delivery

At the time of writing Vypr5’s product range has doubled, and it’s expected to grow even more over the coming year. This new website means they can update their own product range quickly and efficiently in house without having to spend time and money on getting a developer to do it for them. And since social media plays such an important part in the company’s marketing, having the site created on WordPress means they can seamlessly link their Facebook and Instagram accounts too. This provides an even greater level of customer communication and means they can keep track of all interactions in one easy to navigate place.

Our partnership with Vyp5 has given this exciting new company the opportunity to showcase their groundbreaking work in the area of sportstwear, and we can’t wait to see what they do next.
